A brief overview for 2026
Collective Chaos is back again for 2026! Hosted by NIPMAC, July 18th 2026 at our gorgeous flying field at the end of Cranberry Road, between North Bay and Callander (google maps: NIPMAC remote controlled airplane club) in beautiful Northern Ontario Canada.
Once again this year camping at the field will be available for tents or trailers , though no water or hydro is provided. As we had in 2024, night flying will be available on Saturday night under flood lights. A BBQ lunch is provided for the registered pilots and their crew (extra fee, must specify when registering).
We have 3 confirmed pro pilots coming, which will provide amazing flight demos, and be available to share their wealth of knowledge to all in attendance.
So far, we have secured 3 sponsors for our event, a local sponsor, N7 Cattle Company, has graciously provided our locally sourced Black Angus burger patties for lunch. 3DH Hobbies our of Alberta has once again stepped up to help us and also Rotorquest reached out to provide us with prizes for our event. We are very thankful to them for reaching out to help the growing RC Heli community in Canada!
We will soon have the pre-registration form to fill in available on our website, and we recommend pilots pre-register, it will allow us to get a idea of numbers to expect, and also to allow planning for parking of trailers or tents for those attending.
Registration
We encourage attendees to pre-register, to help give us a idea of the numbers coming, who is camping and an idea of how many mouths we will be feeding. Check often as the page will soon be live .
Additional Information
For those attending:
-Friday July 17th is arrival/set up date for those coming early (if arriving earlier than the 17th, please let the club know and we can make sure someone is there to let you in and where to set up). there will be evening flying available though it may be mixed with fixed wing potentially.
-July 18th, the field gate will open around 7am, and any one arriving then is welcome to come in and set up sun shade/canopies/ tents etc.
-The information/registration booth, will be open around 8am to get formally registered, pay pilot fee ($20-includes lunch , and $5 fee for crew/spouse lunch)
-Pilots brief/safety meeting/word from our president --- 9AM
Then the flying begins.
-Night Flying after sunset, and a bonfire to enjoy our company!
